Booking a trip in Pakistan still means a dozen tabs, Facebook groups and WhatsApp forwards. Agencies post flyers with "DM for price"; travelers message five of them, get a PDF from one, a voice note from another and a price from a third that turns out not to include the hotel. Comparing packages ends up in a notes app, and it is hard to tell whether the agency on the other end is real. For Umrah, families need hotel names, distance from the Haram and nights in Makkah and Madinah, and rarely get them up front.
Wonderlist is one app where travel agencies list their Umrah packages and tours and travelers compare and book them. Every package shows the hotels, a day-by-day itinerary, the departure city, what is included and the price per person. If nothing fits, travelers post a trip request with dates, budget and style and agencies send proposals they can compare side by side. Questions, the proposal, the booking and the trip details stay in one conversation instead of scattered across WhatsApp.
- What makes your startup different?
- Agencies are approved before they can list, and travelers rate them after the trip, so the next person has something to go on. Packages have to say what you actually get, including Umrah hotel details. Travelers keep bucketlists with what each trip really cost them and can ask the community about roads, permits, seasons and prices. For agencies, a traveler who has already seen the hotel, itinerary and price and messages with a date in mind is worth more than fifty "price?" comments.
